BioCosm has no user accounts, login, or registration. You do not need to provide any personal information to use this site. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying information.
BioCosm uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not collect IP addresses or personal identifiers. It records only aggregated, anonymized page view counts and referrer domains - information that cannot be used to identify you. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected.
The AI-powered search feature sends your search query to BioCosm's API, which uses it to query a language model to identify relevant drug programs. Queries are used solely to answer your search and are not stored or used to train models. Rate limiting may log your IP address transiently (in-memory only, not written to disk or databases) to enforce usage limits.
We do not sell, share, or transfer any data about site visitors to third parties, other than the aggregated analytics described above (which contain no personal data).
BioCosm links to external sources (PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA, SEC). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern your use of them. BioCosm is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
